OverviewExamples of Relationship issues
Relationships such as family, friends, co workers, and romantic partners can be challenging at times. Many of us long for meaningful relationships with those around us but don’t know how to obtain or manage them. Others may have relationships they value but are burdened by the behaviors of those we care about.
Relationship Problems may consist of:
- How you view yourself doesn’t seem to match the way others view or treat you.
- Feeling like your relationships vary wildly in intensity of commitment/effort from day to day or over time.
- Dealing with feelings of betrayal from damaged relationships
- Having a hard time relating to the problems of those you have relationships with
- Having difficulty knowing how to make appropriate relationships in different settings
- Struggling to know how to appropriately resolve conflicts in a relationship
- Fear of abandonment of those you have relationships with
- Feeling like those around you are either your best friends or your worst enemy with little in between.
If you feel like you relate to some or all of these symptoms, please feel free to schedule an appointment and speak to a therapist about them and how we can help.
